Published by Bradshaw & Blacklock in 1855, this print was used as an illustration in Renshaw’s Elegant Pocket Keepsake, for 1856.
It was common for upmarket ladies annual pocket books / diarys to be illustrated with colour prints
The print was produced using George Baxter's patented process.
When in the pocket-book it has the title below and on the left is 'Printed in oil colours by Bradshaw & Blacklock' with 'Manchester & London' on the right.
The print measures approx. 6 x 9.5cm.
