03 Feb 2019Feature Exhibition at Art & Antiques for Everyone4th to 7th April 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham. The New Baxter Society is delighted to have been asked to provide the Feature Exhibition at the Spring 2019 Fair, which will showcase the prints of George Baxter and his licensees, explaining how his patented “Baxter Process” prints were produced, and showing how these prints made affordable coloured pictures available to the masses for the first time. The exhibited prints will tell the story of key events throughout the mid-nineteenth century and show how they came to be used on everyday objects.

05 Nov 2018Le Blond CatalogueMembers can now access the full catalogue of Le Blond’s Baxter Process prints online, together with the details of the books and music covers that they were used to embellish. Known examples of Le Blond’s other prints are also recorded including adverts and trade cards.
