A wide-ranging exhibition selecting fine examples from the nation’s print collection to look at how prints were created, developed, bought and sold in the period 1400–1850. Learning about the different printing processes. The first 2 days are held at the University and the final day is at the V&A in London in the Prints and Drawings Room. 25 May 2015SUMMER MEETING & AGM28 JUNE 2015 - SUMMER MEETING & AGM – 1PM - to be held at the Aubrey Park Hotel, Redbourn. An Exhibition of Baxter’s Scenic Beauty. On display will be a range of 19th century prints, illustrated books, music covers and ephemera by George Baxter, his licensees and other printers. Prof. Michael Twyman will give a short talk about a set of proofs that were an illustration to his latest book. The Annual General Meeting will take place not before 1:45pm.
