This chromolithograph was printed by William Dickes and used as an illustration in Eleanor Vere Boyle’s book “Child’s Play” published by Sampson Low, Son & Marston in London in 1865.
It was also published in 1874 by Scribner & Company in New York as one of a set of eight cards in a packet entitled St. Nicholas Pictures.
