After a painting by John Austin Fitzgerald, which was exhibited in the Royal Academy in 1858.
First published by George Baxter during 1859 on Embossed Autograph Stamped Mount using his patented Baxter Process.
Republished by Baxter 1862-4, either with large or narrow margin to the mount.
Baxter’s Republication, No. 188.
Also published later by Vincent Brooks and Le Blond using Baxter's plates. Le Blond signed his prints low down in the bottom left hand corner.
Le Blond's prints are often found with the signature cut off and in this condition they are slightly shorter than the original Baxter.
