A view of the tubular bridge which crosses the Menai Straits built between 1846-50 by Robert Stephenson. The suspension bridge built at the same time can be seen in the background.

On the same printing plate as Constancy, The Moorish Bride and Castle of Heidelberg. All printed from 10 colour blocks.

Used as an illustration in one of Peacock, Mansfield & Sons' pocket-books in 1852.
